Join us on an archaeological walking tour of Glendalough Valley.
The tour is hosted by the Glendalough Heritage Forum and will start at 10.00 at the Monastic Site where we will be joined by Prof Tadhg O’Keeffe to discuss the architecture and will continue to visit the recent excavations, the Upper Lake and on to the Mining Village to finish c. 4.30pm.
The walk will be gently paced and on good surfaces and there will be opportunities to turn back. We will cover a total of c 10km if you do all of the walk. Children welcome.
