The Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia is one of the unique Armenological institutions that conducts interdisciplinary research, where studies in the fields of archaeology, ethnography, ethnology, lithology, philology, ethno-sociology, physical anthropology, and paleobiology are concentrated. Archaeological, ethnographic, and scientific field researches have a special place in the field of scientific activity of the Institute, which are carried out consecutively in order to form and enrich the source scientific base of the study of the material and non-material cultural heritage of Armenia, Armenian history. It was founded in 1959.

Lecture

Implication of Artificial Intelligence in Dissemination of Cultural Heritage
The lecture is devoted to the application of artificial intelligence in the fields of popularization of archaeological material, creation of virtual cultural space, transformation of museums, as well as its educational and touristic importance. The use of 3D technologies and their role in comprehensive digital archiving of artifacts and historic sites will be addressed.
