https://register.muinas.ee/public.php?menuID=monument&action=view&id=2609
Next to the residential area of grey nine-floor houses in Lasnamäe,Tallinn stands an ancient hill fort Iru. Just 40 years ago Lasnamäe was an area of modest farm houses, surrounded by stone fences with an odd cult stone and burial site here and there. A tour guided by archaeologist Peeter Talvar invites us to explore both Lasnamäe and Iru. We learn where the local place names originate from, how men trimmed their beards in the Bronze Age, why hollows were carved into stones, how inhabitants defended themselves against the attacks of the intruders.

Lossi 1 Põltsamaa48103 Jõgeva maakond
Põltsamaa Castle (Schloss Oberphalen) was founded by the Livonian Order in 1272. For a period it served as the official residence of Duke Magnus of Holstein. In 1623 king Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden gave the estate to Field Marshal Herman Wrangel. In 1941 the castle was almost completely destroyed in a Soviet air raid. During EAD archaeologists introduce a new exhibition of archaeological finds. The recently renewed Museum invites visitors to get acquainted with the renovated inner courtyard of the castle and climb up the stairs to the tower of the convent.
